Understanding the molecular mechanisms of adaptation and the dynamics of experimental evolution is crucial for deciphering how organisms respond to environmental challenges. These processes are fundamental across disciplines such as medicine, biotechnology, ecology, and evolutionary biology. At a time when climate change, emerging diseases, and biodiversity loss threaten global stability, uncovering the molecular basis of adaptation is both scientifically imperative and socially urgent.

This meeting will explore how cutting-edge technologies—including high-throughput sequencing and gene-editing tools—are transforming our ability to study evolution in real-time.
